DMWA is looking for commercially minded Performance Coordinator, to support the development and delivery of the alliance across the County Durham area. Supporting the Alliance Manager to ensure the financial and performance frameworks are understood and adhered to by all providers, the role will be pivotal to the Alliance’s success and will include working closely with providers, monitoring performance and achieving agreed KPI’s So, a Bit Of Background About Us, DMWA In April 2021 Durham County Council/County Durham Clinical Commissioning Group (the Commissioners) re-tendered 21 of their mental health and wellbeing services and developed a new collaborative approach to a range of support services including prevention, early identification, and recovery support. This collaborative approach falls under the term ‘Alliance’ Alliance commissioning is a relatively new model in the care and support sector. In essence, it’s a group of providers who come together to form an “alliance”, which is not a legal entity, but the principles are that we all pool our funding, resources, and efforts together for the greater good. The Alliance leadership team must agree upon everything unanimously and all decisions are made in the best interests of the service users. The Commissioners and the Durham Mental Wellbeing Alliance (DMWA) believe that by bringing services, providers, and commissioners together, mental health services and support in County Durham will improve. This is a whole system approach, requiring commitment and determination to achieve positive outcomes for people across County Durham. All members work together as one team in a single contract and performance is judged on the overall outcomes of the system (succeed together or fail together) and you as our alliance performance coordinator will be helping us to drive this forward. You will have an eye for detail, providing strong commercial support to the alliance. Your passion will evolve around analysing data and the positive results we can achieve when working in co-production. You will be strategically focussed and see the value in the information you provide to inspire the alliance manager and the alliance leadership team to make use of it to inform business decision making. Therefore, you will be comfortable in proposing, justifying, and initiating change. You will have an ability to prioritise and coordinate workload across other providers and work under pressure to meet reporting and submission deadlines. Interpersonal skills are vital to this role and as an alliance performance coordinator you will become a trusted partner to the alliance manager and alliance leadership team.
