Are you an experienced Payroll Manager with a passion for precision, leadership, and international payroll compliance? At Claire’s, we’re looking for a skilled European Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations across 10 European countries in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop a team, drive process improvements, and work closely with key stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance, and our external payroll provider. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Payroll Operations & Compliance – Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance across Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland.
2. Leadership & Team Management – Lead and support a team of Payroll Specialists, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Process Improvement – Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation, ensuring best-in-class payroll operations.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management – Act as a key liaison between Payroll, HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll queries and ensure seamless payroll processing.
5. Payroll Systems & Reporting – Work with HCM systems (Workday/ADP preferred) to maintain payroll accuracy and reporting, ensuring compliance with country-specific regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
1. 5-7 years of payroll experience, ideally in a multi-country environment.
2. Strong experience with HCM systems (Workday/ADP preferred).
3. Proficiency in Excel and a detail-oriented approach to payroll processing.
4. In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations across multiple European countries.
5. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for developing teams and driving process improvements.
