Day-to-day delivery of a comprehensive and responsive Integrated Single Point of Access support service within Integrated Community Services. The ISPA provides administrative support to community physical health teams across Mid and North Hampshire. The Band 4 roles provide support and Team Leadership for the band 3 administrators based across various sites: Winchester, Herriard, Andover.
You will be responsible for the operational oversight of the ISPA Team's activities on a day-to-day basis to provide an effective, efficient and customer/stakeholder focused service which meets the changing needs of the Trust.
The Band 4 will be experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. We are looking for someone that has experience of managing a small to medium-sized team. Who has good time management, is process-focused, and has appropriate interpersonal skills to enable line managing the team and liaising with various stakeholders. An important focus will be on maintaining a positive team culture while ensuring workflow is maintained in accordance with our operational procedures. Experience in E-roster, RIO, SBS, and Clare's is desirable, but training will be provided.
As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work to meet deadlines and have a customer-focused approach. You will support the development and implementation of ISPA procedures, as we work together to develop and improve the service offered by the ISPA.
Main duties of the job
1. To assist the Matron and Clinical Leads in the development and maintenance of a quality administrative service across the district.
2. To provide direct supervision for administrators including 1:1s and appraisals.
3. To coordinate and support secretarial and administrative duties to clinicians and other non-medical staff.
4. To assist in the organisation of the department and clinician's workload, including being the first point of contact for complex enquiries from patients, carers, and other professionals, and to liaise with GPs, other departments, and external organisations.
