Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient orthopaedic team at Worthing General Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients recovering from orthopaedic surgeries and injuries, promoting mobility, and supporting early discharge plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct assessments and deliver physiotherapy interventions for inpatient orthopaedic patients.
2. Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation plans to support recovery and improve mobility.
3. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
4. Educate patients and families about post-surgical care and recovery strategies.
5. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with trust guidelines.
Requirements
1. HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
2. Experience in inpatient orthopaedics or a related field.
3. Strong clinical reasoning and rehabilitation planning skills.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
5. Commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
