Overview: Our client are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects, from preconstruction handover to final account. This is a pivotal role that involves managing project performance, maintaining client relations, overseeing health and safety requirements, and coordinating with all stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and third parties. The Project Manager will ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Performance Management: Manage and report on Project Performance KPIs to the Contract Manager. Provide relevant reports and documentation to track project progress. Ensure projects remain on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engaging with consultants, engineers, and third parties. Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations. Promote a positive safety culture and represent the company's core values. Health and Safety: Oversee client Health & Safety (H&S) requirements and expectations. Prepare RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) documents. Monitor health and safety performance on-site, assist with reporting and investigating incidents as required. Project Coordination and Design: Manage the progression of the design phase, including DTM's (Design Team Meetings) and design approvals, progressing to production sign-off. Ensure job packs are created and installations are completed as scheduled. Coordinate key interfaces and ensure agreement between all relevant parties. Financial Oversight: Work closely with the commercial department to manage project budgets, forecast financial outcomes, and review CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations). Analyze project expenditures, implement cost-control measures, and maintain project quality and timelines while controlling costs. Site Meetings and Progress Updates: Attend pre-start meetings, progress meetings, and ad-hoc meetings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the project. Maintain a proactive approach to identify challenges early, ensuring projects stay "ahead of the curve." Margin Growth and Commercial Collaboration: Collaborate with the commercial department to encourage margin growth through design/value engineering. Handle commercial variations and resolve design/size issues during the installation phase.Key Values & Core Competencies: Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail, excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a positive, can-do attitude. Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in successfully managing a variety of project types from start to finish. Organization & Time Management: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Commercial Acumen: Ability to analyze financial data, manage costs, and contribute to margin growth.
