Introduction
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Consultant to join their team, working initially as a Business Analyst, but likely in the future to be working in a Consultancy capacity on a variety of tasks within the National Security space.
Ideally some interest in cyber security would be helpful as that is what our client’s core capability covers, however they are in a large growth stage and as such, are looking to grow and can offer an environment to learn different skills!
Working Patterns – Full Time on site.
Key responsibilities
* Work closely with clients to elicit their requirements and understand their problems.
* Manage their requirements and transform problems into technical solutions.
* Implement business and technical processes and procedures.
* Contribute to cutting edge and complex technology programmes with client-side teams.
* Potential to provide technical leadership to junior members of staff and interacting with stakeholders during the programme lifecycle.
* Perform ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ analysis.
* Help stakeholders to understand their needs.
* Contribute to business process modelling and support business change, change implementation and continuous business improvement.
Skills & experience
* You will be highly motivated and degree/apprenticeship qualified.
* Between 3-6 years relevant experience and at least 2 years working in the National Security space, ideally within a Consultancy environment.
* Expertise in at least one of the following: Requirements elicitation and management, business architecture definition and analysis, aligning technical approaches to business/customer goals, identifying business risks and mitigation approaches, agile delivery.
* Agile/Scrum qualification would be ideal.
* You will be comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working solutions to our clients and their users.
* You enjoy growing your skills and those of your team and you regularly learn about new technologies.
Minimum Requirements
You will be required to hold a minimum of DV Clearance. If you do not hold an active DV clearance, please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying.
