Vacancy – Quality Team Leader
A dedicated and experienced Team Leader to head our Inspection Department. This role is pivotal in managing the Goods In Inspection, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operations, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) with a focus on Dye Penetrant Inspection and overseeing the Final Inspection processes.
Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the inspection team. Ensure effective allocation of resources, scheduling of work, and setting priorities to meet departmental objectives.
• Goods In Inspection: Oversee the initial inspection of incoming materials and components, ensuring they meet specified quality standards and project requirements.
• CMM Operations: Manage the operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines. Ensure accurate and timely measurement and analysis of components.
• NDT (Dye Penetrant Inspection): Supervise the Non-Destructive Testing operations, specifically focusing on Dye Penetrant Inspection. Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality assurance.
• Final Inspection: Oversee the final inspection processes, ensuring all products meet the required specifications before dispatch.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all inspection processes are in line with quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Training and Development: Train and mentor team members. Ensure the team is up to date with the latest inspection techniques and industry best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in the inspection department. Implement strategies to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and results. Provide regular reports to management on department performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all inspection activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
