Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician required to join a leading supplier of generators and critical power equipment.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician shall carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
Must be commutable to site in Bristol and happy to cover surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
1. Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment.
2. Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment, mainly generators in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the Southwest.
3. Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, fault finding, repairs and testing of generator sets and associated generator equipment.
4. Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.
5. Liaise with various engineering departments.
6. Full product training provided.
Requirements:
1. Experience as a Generator Engineer, Generator Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Power Generation Engineer, or similar.
2. Skilled in technical report writing with attention to detail.
3. A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
4. Full UK driving license.
5. Flexible for Overtime/part of the on-call rota.
6. Ability to obtain client clearances i.e: police, MOD.
