The Opportunity: Despatch Cloud is launching an updated version of our award-winning software and is looking for an individual to help improve the user experience to make it as easy to use as possible.
What You’ll Do:
* Understand who our clients are, and why they would use our software, this will involve site visits and spending time shadowing people as they work in a warehouse.
* Work through the pre-launched version of our software to ensure that the software can be quickly and easily learned by someone with basic knowledge of ecommerce or warehouse operations.
* Work with our Design, development and project management team to improve the interface and workflows. This encompasses creating user guides, training materials, and video tutorials.
* Document the software so that all levels of users can find out how to use the software and answer questions without needing to use our support team at Despatch Cloud.
Your Profile:
* Very good communication skills
* Ability to understand complex subjects and to clearly explain in a simple way to stakeholders
* Tenacious attitude, self-motivated and the willingness to take ownership of this important and high-profile role without needing constant supervision

Working practices
Our preference is for someone who can be in the office 5 days a week. However, to attract a wider pool of talent, candidates who live more than 30 miles from the office in Driffield would be hybrid working with 3 days in the office. It is essential to have someone in the office (which is co-located in a warehouse) to understand what our clients do and to spend time with the founders.
