Operations Manager
Our client is a well-established SME, a leader in their field, delivering a specialist repair-based service to their clients across the UK.
They’re enjoying a prolonged period of growth and, in line with this, they are seeking to appoint a new Operations Manager whose role it will be to facilitate their expansion and capitalize on the opportunities for greater efficiency that growth is bringing.
The services that they deliver are of high value, supplied to customers in the field, meaning that a high degree of communication is required between all stakeholders, as well as a high degree of organization and strong leadership.
Ideally, you will have experience of being instrumental in the efficient growth of a field-based service operation. You will be motivated by change and embedding it. You will challenge the status quo, bringing your team on the journey and driving cultural improvement. The role will be broad, reviewing and improving processes, better utilizing/changing systems, and building strong leadership structures within Operations. You will be a natural leader, able to motivate your team and play a key role as a member of the senior leadership team.
In view of the operation being field-based, you will be willing to travel and able to attend field-based visits within the UK, although this shouldn’t be too onerous.
For the right person, this could be career-defining, both in the short to medium term, via adding real value to a business at an exciting stage of growth, and in time, with the potential of succession planning for the position of Managing Director.
