Role: Registered Children’s Home Manager

Your Role as Registered Manager
As the leader of this new home, your responsibilities will include:
* Provide Inspirational Leadership: Manage the home and your team to deliver exceptional care, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards.
* Support Young People: Design and implement personalised care plans that promote emotional, social, and educational growth.
* Build a High-Performing Team: Recruit, lead, and support your staff to consistently deliver outstanding care.
* Be a Safeguarding Champion: Ensure the safety and well-being of the young person in your care, prioritising their physical and emotional needs.
* Foster a Nurturing Environment: Create a home that’s resilient, positive, and focused on growth.
* Collaborate for Success: Work closely with external agencies, multi-disciplinary teams, and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.
* Manage Resources: Oversee budgets and ensure financial efficiency for the smooth running of the home.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or working towards it.
* Experience: At least five years in residential care, with a minimum of two years in a management role.
* Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, relevant legislation, and Quality Standards.
* Leadership Skills: A proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
* Resilience: The ability to make sound decisions under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations.
