We have an exciting opportunity to work for the fastest growing multichannel retailers in the UK. Our client has over 170 UK stores stretched across England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the islands and they are still growing!
They are looking for a Junior Branch Merchandiser, to cover maternity, to work within their Branch Merchandising Team reporting to the Branch Merchandiser. You’ll be responsible for ensuring their stores and online platforms have sufficient stock levels and are well-stocked to meet customers’ needs.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and implement Branch Merchandising forward plan that meets the specific channel commercial performance requirements.
2. Identify, build and maintain key internal/external stakeholder relationships to deliver an ongoing optimum stock position.
3. Analyse store/online performance to ensure optimal stock support to drive sales and manage store stock levels accordingly.
4. Identify and own key sales volumes forecasts at branch level, in collaboration with the Buying and Marketing teams for new ranges, seasons and promotions.
5. Work with key stakeholders to ensure all system development changes are effectively tested and implemented.
6. Partnering with Web Operations, to ensure online is supported in achieving sales targets and to address issues and opportunities.
7. Assist in managing team members effectively ensuring their development and workload remain on track.
Salary £37K-£40K
Location Buckinghamshire
Easily commutable from High Wycombe, Amersham, Beaconsfield and accessible from the M40
To excel in this role, you will need to be commercially aware, have strong communication skills, and have experience in a comparable merchandising or supply chain role. Additionally, you’ll need to be able to understand systems and processes and advanced excel.
