You will likely be allocated a main base though you may be asked to cover at any of our Umbrella practices for training & development or to cover in times of sickness or annual leave. We deliver our many of our services from a brand new purpose built surgery in the very heart of Walsall, Hatherton Medical Centre alongside our smaller sites at Mossley Fields Surgery, Holland Park Surgery & The Broadway Medical Centre. Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a long term condition, and the provision of preventative healthcare to the practice population. As an autonomous practitioner the Practice Nurse will be responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making in the management of patients. They will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policies and procedures, and provide nurse leadership as required. The successful candidate will have: NMC Registration Evidence of CPD Excellent communication skills A commitment to maintaining and improving quality Excellent Time Management Excellent Clinical Skills.
