We are looking for an experienced Charity Co-Ordinator to join us on a part-time, temporary contract for a period of 2 years (Ending October 2026). The successful candidate will have flexibility of hybrid working, combining time in a Community Hub with remote working if preferred.
Our aim is to support and help empower anyone experiencing Peri, Menopausal or Post Menopausal Symptoms living in Glasgow and surrounding areas to take control of their health and well-being during menopause and beyond.
We achieve this by being active in the local community, continuing to build our charity by providing information sessions, health and wellbeing advice, peer support, and raising awareness via information sessions, one-to-one meetings, and our podcast/broadcasts.
The skills that are essential for the role are as follows:
1. Exceptional information technology and communication skills.
2. Lead fundraising initiatives to secure financial resources.
3. Prior experience in administrative roles.
4. Proficiency in both literacy and numeracy.
5. Effective communication and organisational skills.
6. Comprehensive understanding of software applications, which include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Forms, Teams (including channel management), Outlook, and Mail.
7. Experienced in editing podcasts and videos.
8. Experienced in data management and bookkeeping.
9. A flexible approach to adapting to a fluctuating workload within a demanding environment.
The skills that are desirable for the role are as follows:
1. A comprehensive understanding and awareness of menopause.
2. The ability to work with diverse communities, particularly women-focused or health-focused groups.
3. Familiarity with the regulatory environment for charities in Scotland.
