ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering our Boys2men and girls interventions (SPROUT Project) to children and young people with precision and care. Your focus will be on nurturing their self-awareness, boosting their confidence, and fostering their active participation by encouraging exploration of their values and beliefs. Collaborating closely with young people and their families, you'll identify their priorities, support needs, and goals. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing and implementing strategies to meet these objectives, using assessment and monitoring tools to inspire and motivate progress. You'll work hand in hand with other agencies to assess needs, provide support, and promote seamless multi-disciplinary workflows. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, as well as maintaining vigilance for health and safety measures, will be integral aspects of your role. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of presentations and deliver them within the community, further extending our reach and impact. Please note, this role is a fixed term position until 31st July 2025.
ABOUT YOU
Join our innovative team, where excellence is not just a goal but a way of life. With a desirable NVQ 3 under your belt, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the table. Your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills will be key as you navigate through our dynamic environment, effectively persuading and communicating to gain commitment, confidence, and compliance. Responsive to both direction and challenge, you thrive in an atmosphere of growth and adaptation. Proficient in IT and well-versed in child development, you understand the impact of issues such as domestic violence, substance misuse, and parental mental health on children. Your organisational prowess and impeccable time management ensure that no detail is overlooked. Experience is your ally, whether it's delivering impactful 1-2-1 sessions or leading engaging group sessions. You have a proven track record of working with children, young people, and families, particularly those at risk of offending. Your deep empathy and listening skills make you approachable and dependable, qualities that shine through in your proactive and quality-driven approach. You're not just a team member; you're a team player in the truest sense. Committed, confident, and driven, you understand the importance of collaboration in achieving our shared goals.
