Job Overview
Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our client's mission. This position requires strong relationship management skills, as well as the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including donors, community members, and volunteers. The Fundraiser will utilise market insights and software tools to enhance our client's fundraising efforts and ensure the success of their initiatives.
Please Note: Our client is a faith-based charitable organisation - so having experience working in the Muslim charity sector will be favoured.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute fundraising campaigns that align with organisational goals.
2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors.
3. Engage with community members through public relations efforts to raise awareness of our mission.
4. Utilise software tools for tracking donations and managing donor information.
5. Collaborate with team members to organise fundraising events and initiatives.
6. Conduct market research to identify new fundraising opportunities and trends.
7. Provide excellent customer service to donors and supporters, ensuring a positive experience.
8. Prepare reports on fundraising progress and outcomes for internal stakeholders.
Skills
1. Strong relationship management abilities to foster connections with donors and community partners.
2. Proven experience in fundraising activities, including campaign development and execution.
3. Familiarity with market analysis techniques to identify potential funding sources.
4. Proficient in using software for donor management and reporting.
5. Excellent public relations skills to effectively communicate our mission and engage supporters.
6. Strong customer service orientation, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
7. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
