Are you an ambitious Employment Solicitor looking to join a highly regarded and supportive team? A respected law firm in East Anglia is seeking an enthusiastic solicitor with NQ–6 years of PQE to join their Employment department, delivering exceptional legal services to businesses and individuals.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Working alongside highly skilled colleagues, you’ll be advising clients on:
* Drafting employment contracts, service agreements, policies, and procedures.
* Assisting with Employment Tribunal cases, including drafting ET1s, ET3s, and correspondence with the Tribunal.
* Providing pragmatic, commercial advice on employment law issues.
* Supporting senior associates and partners on complex matters, while also managing your own caseload.
* Advising on TUPE and enforcement of post-termination restrictions (desirable but not essential).
This role also offers opportunities to develop business through networking, presenting, and other client-facing activities.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
* Possess excellent client relationship management skills and a strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree).
* Be confident in advising on employment law matters across multiple sectors.
* Demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to client care.
* Have experience with corporate transactions, TUPE, and restrictive covenants (desirable).
* Be eager to engage in business development and expand the firm’s profile.
