Site Manager (Highways/Bridges)
Location: 5B Firth Rd, Livingston, EH54 5DJ
Rate: £350-400/day (CIS or Ltd)
Duration: Ongoing (52-week project)

We are seeking a Site Manager with strong highways and bridge construction experience to join a £35M+ project with a Principal Contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of site operations to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective service.
* Review method statements and risk assessments for compliance and best practice.
* Organize and chair pre-start meetings with subcontractors and attend hand-over meetings with the pre-construction team.
* Issue appropriate notices and contractual correspondence to subcontractors as needed.
* Maintain accurate site diaries and monitor risks and progress.
* Control and monitor subcontractor day works and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
* First Aid Certification
* Minimum 5+ years in a similar role.
* Strong background in highways and bridge construction, ideally with experience in concrete or shuttering joinery.
* Ability to provide two professional references.
* Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office.
