We achieve this by meticulously planning and scheduling advisors’ work, including training, coaching, meetings, lunches, and managing holiday/appointment processing. We’re looking for a friendly and approachable Resource Planner to join our team. Key responsibilities include generating schedules for our busy advisors; producing daily performance reports; and problem-solving telephony system issues for our frontline teams. The role will suit you if you are well organised, a proactive team player and you thrive within a ‘can do’ culture. You’ll be a methodical multi-tasker, with strong IT skills and the flexibility to adapt to daily changes. WHAT WILL YOUR TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE? The Resource Planner role is varied and there’s no such thing as a typical day. Key activities include: Maintaining rosters, one-to-ones plans, task rotations, blended work patterns and appointment bookings. Keeping track of training plans and adherences, whilst proactively scheduling coaching and training sessions comfortably within deadline dates. Production of daily, weekly & monthly staffing schedules to deliver optimised plans to protect service levels. Processing annual leave and appointment requests with SLA, reporting concerns as appropriate. Managing the team’s inbox and calendar throughout the day. Producing daily reports to aid management in service performance. Assisting with the closure / opening of telephony systems and amend advisor skills as the needs arise. Providing additional support in the absence of team members. Being the point of contact to resolve issues that may arise within the telephony system. Upholding data and security measures within the planning function and the wider business. Contributing to projects relevant to planning, ensuring timescales are met. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Knowledge of day-to-day planning, scheduling and reporting Fully ICT literate and competent in the use of Microsoft products, with particularly proficiency in Excel Outlook mailbox and multiple calendar management A confidential approach Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Professional with a flexible, positive ‘can-do’ approach to work and change Strong communicator, both written and verbal Organised and detail driven who can use own initiative Collaborative team player Effective time management skills Experience in working in a similar role and within a customer service environment Experience of resource management using workforce management systems is desirable Please refer to the essential criteria in the job description as this is what you will be shortlisted against.
