Key Responsibilities
* Account Management:
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with national pub chains.
o Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
o Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability and achieve sales targets.
* Sales Strategy and Execution:
o Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the pub group channel.
o Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the pub sector.
o Monitor and analyse sales performance, adjusting strategies to meet targets.
* Brand Visibility and Promotion:
o Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities within the pub groups.
o Ensure AU Vodka’s brand is prominently displayed and aligns with company guidelines.
o Organise and attend promotional events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
* Market Analysis and Reporting:
o Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
o Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
o Use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions and recommendations.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
o Coordinate with product development teams to provide feedback from customers and the market.
* Training and Development:
o Stay updated on industry developments and continuously enhance personal and team knowledge.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field - desirable
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role within the beverage or FMCG industry.
* Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
* Experience working with national pub chains or in a similar channel is highly desirable.
Skills:
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Ability to travel as required.
