Do you want to work in a service where we diagnose lung cancer early and save people’s lives?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the expanded Greater Manchester Targeted Lung Health Check programme. This award-winning programme delivers lung cancer screening to people aged between 55 and 74 years old, who have ever smoked in their lifetimes, from mobile clinics in the community.
This post will be mainly based in mobile clinics in the community in Greater Manchester (covering all localities). Training and induction will be completed at Wythenshawe hospital and at mobile sites (supermarkets and football stadiums) out in the community. Travel payments will be made for any travel completed above home to base mileage. Also, MFT has lease car options available to successful post holders through the NHS Fleet Solutions car leasing salary sacrifice scheme.
You will receive an induction and training package and be part of an established team with support for you to thrive in your role and contribute to improved patient care, health, and quality of life.
Main duties of the job
You will play an essential role within the team, helping to maintain and when necessary, improve good working practices.
You will be willing to adapt to change and learn new skills, having a good knowledge of general office procedures, together with organisational and communications skills, delivering high quality admin support and patient care.

Education/Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications to demonstrate literacy and numeracy
* ECDL or other relevant IT qualifications
* NVQ 2 in Customer Service
Experience
* Evidence of working as part of a team as well as in isolation
* NHS patient services with a knowledge of NHS administration procedures or different healthcare setting
* Evidence of handling difficult circumstances e.g., customer complaints
Skills
* Self-motivated and productive without constant supervision
