Your future, your role
As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be:
* Developing a full understanding of business legacy systems and migration paths to Azure cloud native solutions.
* Ensuring all future systems are designed with security built in to meet regulatory needs and company standards.
* Understanding and triaging business needs and new requirements into the data architecture strategy to ensure evolving reporting and analytics needs are captured, documented and surfaced.
* Leading the charge in building innovative solutions, leading workshops with technical team to agree architecture and designs.
* Defining and understanding the relationships between all data sources and acting as a gatekeeper for the impact of future or proposed plans.
You will need:
* 7+ years’ experience of migrating systems/data platforms from On Premise datacentre to Public Cloud (Azure preferred but not essential).
* Strong understanding of cloud service for data storage, data catalogue/lineage, ETL and pipelines for ingesting, transforming and landing data.
* Expertise in programming languages like Python and SQL for data processing, knowledge of implementing DevOps culture and SRE mindset for continuous optimisation.
* Ability to work from a high level, conceptual viewpoint to define the overall business data strategy and steer colleagues on producing the end product.
