Radis Community Care have an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Services in Central and North West region. This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel to the services you support and some home working. You will have use of a desk and office facilities at one of our local services. Our current services in region are from Oxfordshire up the M5/M6 corridor through to Lancashire.
About the role
The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive support to deliver a value-added HR service.
* Act as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
* Act as a trusted advisor in all employee relation matters including TUPE transfers.
* Provide guidance to managers and employees in a timely and professional manner.
* Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations where required.
* Implement HR initiatives that are aligned with overall business requirements.
* Partner with leadership to develop and implement organisational strategies.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Drive HR initiatives to establish and retain talent within the business.
* Collaborate with managers to understand future resourcing needs and provide strategic solutions.
* Support the performance appraisal process and provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
* Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
* Analyse HR data to help predict and diagnose organisational issues and develop solutions.
* Provide guidance on pay and other remuneration issues.
* Work collaboratively with the HR Shared Services Admin Manager and HR Business Partner Processes & Projects to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across all aspects of the HR function to deliver HR Excellence.
Skills and Qualifications required for the role.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, conscientious, proactive, with the ability to work with integrity. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years previous experience of working in a busy HR Department in a similar role and a minimum of CIPD level 5 or equivalent. An understanding of HR processes and an up-to-date, working knowledge of current UK employment law is also required. Experience of providing HR advice within the care sector is desired but not essential.
You must have a car available for business use and be prepared to stay away overnight on occasion.
