Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Field Training and Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for training new security guards on-site, virtually, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring compliance with company standards. This position involves rotational shifts and requires travel in company vehicle to various client locations. This role will support our security personnel across Southwestern, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development:
* Conduct on-site training for new hires, including site-specific protocols, procedures, and client expectations.
* Provide refresher training for existing guards to ensure continued compliance with company and client standards.
* Create and maintain training materials as needed.
Quality Assurance:
* Perform regular on-site quality assurance inspections to ensure guards are meeting performance and appearance standards.
* Review and provide feedback on guard reports and logs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Document and report any deficiencies or non-compliance issues to the Operations Manager.
Support:
* Ensure guards have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their duties effectively.
Administrative Duties:
* Maintain accurate records of training sessions, quality checks, and corrective actions.
* Provide regular updates and reports to management on training progress and quality assurance findings.
Other Duties:
* Support other operational activities as assigned.
* Support the Human Resources Department with onboarding, in-person training, compliance, and record keeping.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the security industry, with prior experience in a supervisory or training role preferred.
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training certifications are an asset.
Skills:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
* Proficient in report writing and basic computer applications.
Other:
* Valid security guard license and driver’s license.
* Availability to work rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
