Reporting into the Project Technical Director, we are searching for a team member to join us a Project Technical Manager (Construction Products & Systems).This role operates in North London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.Can you say yes?

What you'll be doing:
You will oversee site reporting, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Knauf systems and products. Acting as the face of Knauf during construction stages, you'll engage with stakeholders, provide critical data and feedback, and ensure seamless communication between customers and internal teams. Your role is key to building strong relationships and maintaining Knauf's technical reputation by delivering best-in-class technical support.
* Serve as the customer-facing technical contact, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to deliver top-tier technical support for all Knauf projects.
* Prepare accurate specifications and amendments for systems and products, tracking them to ensure on-site compliance and reporting findings to optimise visits.
* Monitor and engage with Knauf specification-converted projects, ensuring compliance and fostering repeat business using Knauf's values.
* Collaborate with Pre-construction Project Specification Managers and technical peers to identify and convert repeat business opportunities.
* Support Architects, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Designers in resolving design challenges, contributing to agreeable performance solutions while minimising company risks.
* Clearly communicate the benefits of Knauf system solutions to all stakeholders across the value chain through design and consultancy.
* Assist with product launches in partnership with the marketing team as needed.
* Actively contribute to team and individual projects, including internal policy updates, induction programs, Staff Council, and Health & Safety initiatives.
* Provide feedback to the innovation process, ensuring customer-focused input for the development of robust technical solutions.
* Comply with role-specific requirements outlined in reporting through the use of OneCRM / Salesforce; covering Health & Safety, Quality, Environment, and Corporate Responsibility.
* Address Fire, Acoustic, and Thermal performance considerations in daily tasks, highlighting Knauf system capabilities.
* Provide coverage for the Project Specification Team (Pre-Construction) and other Technical Team functions as needed.
* Support the Project Specification Manager (Pre-Construction) team to prioritise customer demand and service delivery.
What we'd love for you to have:
* Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles within construction markets, delivering technical solutions.
* Strong understanding of key construction stakeholders, including Architects, Main Contractors, and Sub-Contractors.
* In-depth knowledge of Fire, Acoustic, Thermal, and Structural principles.
* Comprehensive understanding of construction routes to market and building methods.
* Proficient in resolving site issues through the interpretation of drawings and plans.
* Flexibility to travel throughout North London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

* A competitive salary between £45,000 - £50,000 + company car + bonus.
