Summary:
Working with our business partners to generate a production plan for UK Bakeries to eliminate “down time” thus ensuring optimum manufacturing time and cost effective operations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Generation of production plan based on clients forecast for next 24hrs, 7 day to 14 days
2. Highlight pinch points and potential support requirements
3. Define and drive Fresh and frozen capacities to ensure continued supply
4. SAP order processing
5. Review forecast v actual orders
6. Share data with supply chain management, and wider business, concerning pre-agreed key business points to include production, dispatch, material usage
7. SAP forecast maintained with forecast generated from the S&OP process
8. Raw material requirement generated within SAP
9. Reporting
10. Supporting Supply Chain Manager during crisis’

Person Specification:
1. Experience working in FMCG Food Manufacturing (not essential)
2. Familiarity with a Demand Planner role and supply chain best practices, ideally gained within the food industry or similar fast paced environment
3. Excellent communicator
4. Highly organized and methodical in your approach.
5. Strong influencing skills.
6. An eye for detail, and the ability to juggle. A natural problem solver!

Skills and Experience:
1. A minimum of 3 years Production planning experience
2. Good working knowledge of SAP
3. Proficient in all Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level
4. Proficient in Forecasting/Demand Planning
