As a MEP Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mechanical, electrical, and process (MEP) functions throughout the lifecycle of various projects. From concept design to commissioning, you will ensure that all MEP aspects are meticulously considered and integrated. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to create the commissioning strategy from the ground up, ensuring that the project’s process outputs are produced safely and in accordance with the design, client requirements, regulatory standards, and environmental restrictions. The role of a MEP engineer includes: Hands-on practical work and supervisory activities to build skills and knowledge. Help integrate the design, construction and commissioning of plant and equipment mainly within the Water sector by bringing mechanical, electrical and/or process skills to practical benefit. Plan and programme the MEP aspects of the projects we deliver; working with design and operational teams to support the design, planning, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of projects. During the construction phase, duties will include; overseeing subcontractors, ensuring installations meet standards, conducting testing, reviewing assessments, and overseeing electrical safety. Additionally, you will create commissioning plans, inspection and test plans, acceptance documents, training materials, and completion documentation.
