If you're looking for a role in a fast-paced and growing company that values its people and offers opportunities for career progression, we’d love to hear from you Purpose of the Position: As a Class 2 Driver at The Menu Partners, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our high-quality food products to our customers across the UK. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely while maintaining excellent service standards, representing our company with professionalism and reliability on every journey Key Activities & Responsibilities: · Conduct start-of-shift vehicle checks, ensuring all defects or damages are reported promptly. · Review your delivery schedule before departure and collect your run box containing all necessary keys and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents. · Verify that you have all PODs and delivery guides for your designated route. · Ensure full legal compliance before commencing your shift, including adhering to all driving and safety regulations. · Deliver goods directly to customers' designated storage areas, including fridges and freezers within restaurants, ensuring proper handling and placement. · Handle all goods with care, following company guidelines to maintain quality and prevent damage. · Report any delivery issues or incidents to the Transport Office immediately. · Accurately record all deliveries using Vanlogic, ensuring required photos are taken as proof of delivery. · Upon return to the depot, complete all end-of-day vehicle checks and report any concerns. · Refuel and clean the vehicle as needed to maintain high standards. · Complete the debrief process, checking in all PODs, customer keys, and Vanlogic device. · Fill out the driver dispatch sheet and VC40, ensuring all records are up to date. · Download and submit your digital tachograph card as required. The working week is an average of 48 hours over 17 weeks. Working pattern: Days and Nights available Salary is £42,000 per annum.
