MEICA Commissioning Engineer - Waste Water
Commissioning Engineers needed for Severn Trent Water area - Ignore Birmingham; this can be STW area wide, so will be split up depending on where you are based compared to other Commissioning Engineers.
This water contractor is operating on a major AMP 7 & 8 water framework for clean water and wastewater major projects.
You will carry out day-to-day on-site commissioning activities for various projects across the Severn Trent Water region.
You will report directly to the Commissioning Manager and the responsibilities will include:
1. Carry out day-to-day management, coordination, and delivery of on-site commissioning activities.
2. Produce regular project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports on nominated projects.
3. Ensure all necessary Commissioning documentation is produced in a timely manner and cooperate with Technical Documentation teams to ensure timely delivery of O&M manuals.
4. Ensure the effective integration of assets into the existing works without detriment and risk to service level agreements.
5. Manage and complete off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities by suppliers or others.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Water industry project experience preferred.
2. Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA commissioning role.
3. MEICA/civil works multi-disciplined interfacing - Water.
4. Computer literate, particularly with MS Office applications is essential.
5. Ability to work to target dates across multiple projects, whilst maintaining output and timescale requirements.
6. Hold a valid full UK driving license.
7. Eligible to work in the UK.
