Location: Cirencester Office Workplace Type: Hybrid Employment Type: Permanent Seniority: Mid-Senior Level What you’ll be doing: You will take responsibility for the oversight and delivery of the SJPUK and Investment Administration monthly management accounts and associated financial, regulatory and statutory reporting. Key Responsibilities: Delivery and ownership of the relevant management accounts. Provision of financial information to the Entity Boards Review, challenge and sign-off the relevant monthly controls pack. Ownership of capital management activities for the relevant entities. Preparation of relevant papers as required i.e. dividend proposals. Provide senior management with relevant insights on the financial performance of the business on a monthly basis. Manage the relationship with 3rd party administrators including understanding and challenging their processes, controls and outputs, working with them on ad-hoc projects and resolving issues. Statutory reporting – own and deliver the relevant entity statutory reporting & accounts whilst managing external audit queries. Regulatory reporting – oversight and delivery of the Group and UK Solvency II reporting. Subject matter expert for relevant entity accounting, preparing technical papers, presenting on key topics and being involved in project work as and when required. Who we’re looking for: You will be self-motivated and experienced Financial Accountant with In depth knowledge of financial accounting and the ability to understand and interpret financial information. You will have previous experience working within financial services and experience working with life insurance accounting would be highly desirable. We are looking for a professional who can work with minimal direction, who takes the initiative with a pro-active approach to problem solving. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills and be comfortable discussing and communicating key financial information with senior executives. What's in it for you?
