We have an exciting opportunity for a band 5 UK Registered nurse to join our team in St Margaret’s community hospital in Auchterarder.
St Margaret’s GP unit is an inpatient ward delivering care within South Perthshire and Kinross locality. St Margaret’s is a 12 bedded ward providing rehabilitation, step down and palliative care for the communities of Auchterarder and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to promote and deliver high quality evidence based care.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills. Training opportunities will be available to advance knowledge in palliative care. The role of the registered nurse in a community hospital is diverse and allows nurses to develop experience in many aspects of patient care and multidisciplinary team working.
Within the Community Hospital setting there is sufficient dedicated resource to ensure we can plan and deliver high quality person centred care alongside a highly experienced, dynamic and committed team that takes pride in the quality of the care we provide to maintain or improve lives.
As an integral part of the team the post allows the registrant to work alongside and gain knowledge in social care provision, working in partnership with the integrated health and social care team, families and carers which promotes a holistic approach that provides inclusive care for patients in a sub acute setting.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
