A prominent Public Sector organisation in Ballymena, serving the local community, is currently recruiting an experienced Payroll Advisor. This urgent role offers an immediate start for the right candidate, with potential for extension.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous payroll experience is essential.
Responsibilities
As a Payroll Advisor, you will:
1. Deliver comprehensive payroll services (monthly, bi-weekly, weekly) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high customer service standards, in compliance with legislation.
2. Process Real Time Information and Pension Auto Enrolment procedures for schemes like NILGOSC, including handling contractual and statutory payments such as sick, maternity, paternity, parental, and redundancy pay.
3. Manage non-statutory deductions and payments, including trade union subscriptions, charitable donations, childcare schemes, and court/enforcement orders deductions.
4. Handle pension contributions and payments under NILGOSC or other schemes.
5. Administer processes related to new hires, leavers, secondments, transfers, and employee record updates.
6. Provide advice and support to organisational departments on compensation and benefits issues at an advisory level.
