Senior Account Manager - Puerto Rico, Caribbean District
Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing accounts in the Caribbean? Do you have the business savvy, executive relationship, and technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? As Senior Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the territory. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A background in engineering, computer science, or business administration
- BA/BS degree required or equivalent, MBA or MS degree a plus
- Experience selling cloud solutions at a technology company
- Proven Business and Technical Acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- History of outcome-based executive engagement
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
