What you will do in your working day
Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with a revenue of over £2.3 Billion. We produce and supply premium own label food to high-profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector, and other UK and global customers.
What you’ll do:
New product development involves creating new food products or improving existing ones. This process includes idea generation, research, product design, development, testing, and market introduction.
Upon joining the scheme, you will embark on a comprehensive entry-level training program designed to equip you with everything you’ll need to become a valuable member of the New Product Development Team.
You will be mentored by industry experts, engaging in hands-on NPD projects and taking responsibility to ensure the highest levels of product quality, safety, and compliance, all whilst working towards a Level 6 Food Industry Technical Professional Degree with Sheffield Hallam University.

What we are looking for:
We're seeking individuals who are enthusiastic newcomers who are excited about starting a career in the food industry. You’ll need to be passionate about food and able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and be willing to learn new skills from day one.
Candidates must have studied A-levels. A GCSE in Food Tech is desirable but not essential.
