Community Mental Health Professional - AOT
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Professional to join our innovative Assertive Outreach Team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and provide psychosocial, evidence-based interventions to individuals facing mental health challenges, supporting them on their path to recovery. A collaborative, strengths-based approach is central to our work, and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.

Main duties of the job
In this role, you will deliver a high-quality, comprehensive mental health service to individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges within the Community Mental Health Service. You will manage a defined caseload, focusing on individuals with complex needs, while also providing support to their families and significant others.
You will work within established professional boundaries and receive regular supervision to support ongoing skill development and competence. As part of the team, you will also play a key role in clinical leadership, providing supervision to colleagues in collaboration with the Team Manager. Your responsibilities will include actively participating in team development, service evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration with a wide range of partners is essential to this role.
A full driving license, access to a personal vehicle, and appropriate business insurance are required.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* RMN, Social Work or Occupational Therapy Qualification.
* Current registration with relevant professional body.
* Commitment to Continuing Professional Development.
* Evidence of recent relevant training.
Experience
* Experience of working with people with severe and enduring Mental Illness
* Experience of working within a community mental service.
* Experience of working within an assertive community mental health service.
Additional Criteria
* Ability to travel round Trust area to fulfil the requirements of the role.
