About The Role
Acclaim Logistics is looking for a Depot General Manager. You will be responsible for providing overall leadership for the site, ensuring that the site operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. You will also lead an operational management team, oversee financial control, compliance, and safety, all while driving a continuous improvement agenda that allows us to continually strive towards making Acclaim a great place to work.
This role will oversee collection and delivery operations of multiple brands, ensuring a high level of delivery service.

Key Accountabilities:
* Service Delivery: Ensure that the depot meets or exceeds all agreed service levels, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
* Change Management: Lead and implement change initiatives aimed at operations, driving efficiencies and productivity, and enhancing overall performance outcomes.
* KPI Monitoring: Leverage data analytics tools to monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery times, accuracy, and productivity, decision-making, and drive performance improvements.
* Transport Management Compliance: Ensure high standards of management, leadership, and compliance within the transport function, adhering to transportation regulations, customer SLAs, and industry standards.
* Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment while driving a safety-first culture.
* Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement activities across warehouse and logistics operations to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
* Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, enhancing the performance and potential of team members through effective mentoring, training, and support.
About You:
* Experience: Experience in a leadership or managerial role within a warehouse and logistics environment, with GM-level experience in managing warehouse and logistics operations, demonstrating strategic oversight and operational excellence.
* Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, proven ability to deliver on customer needs, excellent management skills, methodical approach, and experience in managing operational budgets and targets.
* Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurized environment to tight deadlines, with an understanding of transport regulation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £46,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
