Job Description
Provide effective payroll administration within the People & Culture Service through the establishment and delivery of administrative procedures, processes and specialist support that contribute to a consistent and high quality service provision to Council Departments and supported Services. This role assists with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives identified within the People & Culture Service Plan and the Community Plan.

The Individual
This is a temporary full-time post, based at the Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock. The workstyle for this post is Remote, with less than 20% of the time spent in the office. You will work less than 1 day per week at your administrative base and the rest of the week from home or other work locations as required. An element of working in the office will still be required on a regular basis. The hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm. The post is temporary until 31 March 2026, with a full-time salary of between £25,953 - £27,173 per annum.
