Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an individual with Technical/Quality management experience, gained within a food manufacturing environment. The business exports products around the globe and in-house manufacturing of one line of products.
Reporting to the site Operations Manager and responsible for a team of three, the aim of this role is to manage and coordinate the on-going technical integrity of all processes and products produced, ensuring compliance to the Company's Quality Management System, for both own manufactured products and those sourced from third parties.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Manager will include:
·Develop and maintain the on-site quality management system to ensure continued BRC/GFSI accreditation
·Liaise with the various food standard bodies e.g. BRC, Halal, Soil Association, FSA, EHO and international authoritative bodies
·Lead, motivate and develop the quality team
·Act as HACCP team leader, maintaining the site HACCP system for both products manufactured on site and those supplied by third parties
·Manage the Specifications team to ensure that the development of new product launches is done in a timely and legal manner
