An opportunity for a long-term placement within a dedicated SEN school, located within the London borough of Merton, is available. Your work will be supported by newly refurbished state-of-the-art facilities that will directly assist the ideal SEN humanities teacher.
The successful SEN humanities teacher will be responsible for ensuring KS3-4 students are fully engaged in the curriculums of history, geography, and religious education. As a SEN humanities teacher, your classes will consist of no more than 10 students, and you will be supported by specialized SEN teaching assistants. SEN humanities teachers must also be able to adapt learning strategies to meet the individual needs of students, including those with ASD.
