We’re looking for a passionate, skilled and hardworking Venue IT Technician to join us! We have ambitious and exciting plans for the future.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our technical systems within our venues.
As a Venue IT Technician at Lane 7, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure across our venues. This role involves managing technical setups, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to uphold the technological excellence of our venues.
The Role
* Manage and support technical setups within the Lane 7 group, ensuring optimal functionality.
* Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
* Collaborate with the IT Installations Manager and Venue and Operations Support teams.
* Ensure all venue IT systems are operational and meeting performance standards.
* Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
* Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
* Ensuring security by keeping software up to date.
* Recording of IT asset information & maintaining stock of essential IT equipment.
* Support and maintenance of Epos and card payment systems.
* Administration and maintenance of support ticketing system.
* Installation of Nayax card readers on arcade machines.
Qualifications and Skills
* Previous experience in a technical support or IT maintenance role is preferred.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting IT issues and maintaining technical systems.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
* Understanding of network communications including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN’s, routers & switches.
* Office 365 admin centre knowledge.
* CCTV installation and maintenance.
* Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
* Ensuring security by keeping software up to date.
Working Arrangement
* Your place of work is Lane7 Manchester 235 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4EN.
* Working remotely when appropriate.
* Your hours of work will be Tuesday to Saturday 9.00am – 5.30pm.
* Travel to our Lane7 sites as required for the role with flexibility around working hours required.
* Some hotel overnight stays as required to meet needs of the business.
* You’ll work in a close-knit team in this broad and varied role.
