Responsibilities
* Deliver English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Create and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
* Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
* Provide academic support and guidance to help students achieve their educational goals
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialist knowledge of teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Demonstrable experience in delivering tailored tuition to students with SEMH needs
* Proven track record of improving student outcomes
* Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field
* Additional training in behaviour management techniques
Additional Information
* Part-time hours, with flexibility required to meet student needs
* Work in a learner's home or community setting
* Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external support services
