Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our practice, focusing on conducting condition surveys and property valuations with a wider scope available to suit you. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed condition surveys of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Prepare clear and thorough condition reports, including recommendations and cost estimates for repairs or improvements. Undertake accurate property valuations for various purposes such as purchase, sale, insurance, and inheritance or capital gains tax. Offer expert guidance to clients on property condition, necessary repairs, and regulatory compliance. Liaise closely with clients to ensure their needs are met, delivering timely and professional survey reports. Ensure all surveying and valuation work adheres to RICS standards and industry regulations. Qualifications and Experience: MRICS or FRICS qualification (essential). Proven experience in conducting condition surveys and property valuations. Strong understanding of building pathology, construction techniques, and relevant legislation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly. Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
