Your new role
Your new role as a Customer Service Advisor / Sales Administrator is a 12-month fixed-term contract. It is a varied role where you will be a part of a team handling customer enquiries and dealing with the day-to-day challenges of working in a service-orientated manufacturing environment. This role will require you to liaise closely with the customer service colleague located in their Redditch branch and thus, you may be required to travel to Redditch for training purposes (first week).
Your responsibilities:
1. Preparation and issue of customer quotations from the in-house system based on customer technical drawings.
2. Sales order processing and order verification.
3. Setting up new drawings for production.
4. Setting up new items in the ERP system.
5. Setting up new customer accounts.
6. Liaising with the finance department regarding payment terms, invoices, credit limits.
7. Progressing and expediting customer requirements.
8. Investigation and resolution of both internal & external delivery performance concerns.
9. Raising credit notes and arranging returns.
10. Customer liaison – dealing withmercial issues, customer enquiriesplaints via phone and emails.
11. Participating in the organisation of sales and customer service meetings.
12. Preparing and providing KPI data to themercial team as and when required.
13. To carry out any other reasonable tasks required
14. Managing customer service email accounts and acting on customer queries and emails accordingly.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a tech-savvy individual who is confident in their mathematic abilities (use of things such as angles and shapes). You will bepetent with Microsoft Office packages and be an effectivemunicator both written and verbally. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of sales order processing, be numerate and possess excellent attention to detail. You will be proactive, structured and organised and capable of working to deadlines.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive apetitive salary of up to £25,000. The role is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract and the working hours are hours per week, Monday to Friday. The organisation offers an annual leave entitlement of 26 days + bank holiday and there is free parking on site.
