An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and well-organised individual to join our busy admin team at Bay Primary School. The successful candidate must work well as part of a team and have the ability to communicate effectively with students and their parents/carers. Good IT skills are essential, and previous experience of using MIS systems would be an advantage.
Job Requirements:
* Provide a support service for pupils and parents/carers within the administrative organisation of the school.
* Act as a first point of contact with the school, filtering enquiries as appropriate and taking and passing on messages when necessary.
* Be responsible for routine correspondence with parents/carers.
* Manage the collection of school meal money, maintain appropriate records, and liaise with the school kitchen regarding dinner numbers and queries.
* Liaise with internal and external agencies.
* Be a named First Aider.
* Be responsible for the implementation of the school’s policy for the administration of medicines in school.
* Make contact with parents/carers or emergency contacts during the school day as the need arises.
* Provide administrative support for the Senior Leadership Team.
* Maintain and update pupil records.
* Have responsibility for the collection, checking, and banking of cash.
* Maintain stock requisition and resources.
