In this role, you will provide expert advice and support on a wide range of HR and employment issues to managers across the council. Your focus will be on developing pragmatic solutions that enhance service delivery while aligning with our strategic objectives. Key to your success will be your ability to engage effectively with customers, key partners, and trade unions. You must demonstrate the capability to quickly establish professional credibility and inspire confidence at all levels of the organisation. We’re looking for someone with a degree-level qualification (ideally CIPD) and significant experience in a management role.
A deep understanding of employment legislation and its application in a large complex, diverse organisation is essential. We are particularly interested to hear from you if you have recent talent management experience including attracting, developing, and retaining employees at an organisational level.
