The Role:
We are looking to recruit an HR Administrator to join the Morgan LaRoche Team.
A rare and exciting opportunity, this is a true HR generalist role covering all aspects of internal HR.
Reporting to the Practice & Operations Director, the successful candidate will assist in the delivery of a quality HR service to staff at all levels within the Firm.
1. Act as the main point of contact for HR administrative queries
2. Overseeing recruitment aspects for the Firm including adverts, arranging interviews, DBS checks, reference checks, offer letters, and contracts of employment.
3. Monitor HR inbox ensuring timely and appropriate responses
4. Assist with the on-boarding of new starters including induction training and monitoring of key dates
5. Assistance with employee relation matters that may arise
6. Contributing towards the Wellbeing Strategy
7. Managing the HR system, including holiday leave and absence management
8. Assisting the Practice & Operations Director and Training Principal with learning and development for all staff of the firm and for coordinating reporting obligations for the Solicitors Regulation Authority
9. Managing the cycle of staff appraisals
10. Maintaining and circulating up to date HR policies and procedures
11. Development and preparation of meaningful HR analytics for the Executive Board
12. Supporting the Health and Safety Director to ensure the upkeep of Health and Safety processes and procedures
13. Opportunities to attend internal employment law training
What we are looking for:
Although experience in a HR role is desirable, it is not essential, provided the candidate has suitable comparable administrative experience. You will have excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Strong communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal. You will be responsible for managing your own workload in an organised fashion and be able to maintain discretion with confidential information.
