The Advanced Operator, reporting directly to the First Line Manager, is a proactive, highly skilled professional dedicated to optimizing production equipment for maximum efficiency with minimal waste and downtime. This role involves meticulous planning, preparation, and organization of machinery, along with thorough documentation to support streamlined operations. By driving a culture of sustainable, continuous improvement, the Advanced Operator significantly contributes to the overall productivity and efficiency of the line. We currently have vacancies on our 2 x 8 shift (0600-1400 / 1400-2200 Mon - Fri rotating weekly) and our continental shift (0600 - 1800 as follows; Week 1: Mon, Tue Fri - Sun and Week 2: Wed & Thu) Pay: £13.63 per hour Prepare the production line by ensuring machines and areas meet performance, food safety, and hygiene standards. Maintain optimal equipment performance, addressing issues as they arise. Facilitate efficient line and product changeovers through proactive planning of equipment, manpower, and materials. Ensure adequate material availability, aligning production with the schedule to minimize downtime and maximize flexibility. Report any obstacles affecting the production plan to the First Line Manager or other managers. Perform regular process control checks to ensure adherence to specifications.
