About the Role
The PEP Lead (Secondary) is the expert on the needs of our looked after children in secondary schools. As a PEP Lead, you will drive forward improvement in PEP completion and quality, ensuring the Personal Education Plan secures the best educational outcomes for our looked after children. You will take a lead in maintaining these high standards for our children, and you will offer advice and guidance to schools, social workers, parents and carers whether over the phone, Microsoft Teams, through training or via our website. You will keep up to date with the relevant regulations, policy and legislation relating to the education of looked after children.
You will be able to demonstrate a track record of championing looked after children in education through appropriate support and challenge. You will be a graduate who is a qualified teacher and you will have experience of working with looked after children in education settings.

An enhanced DBS check with children/adults barred list check will be required
You will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office
