We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school for a temporary position starting immediately and running through to the end of January 2025. You will be working with a small class of 14 pupils, supported by two teaching assistants (TAs), with a focus on providing high-quality education to students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a class of 14 Year 4 pupils. Provide tailored support to SEN pupils, ensuring an inclusive and accessible learning environment. Work closely with two teaching assistants to implement individual learning plans and strategies. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure effective support for students. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a qualified teacher with a passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN. Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2), ideally Year 4. Be proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Demonstrate a strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching practices. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
