Our client, the UK’s leading earthworks contractor, is looking for a driven Site Engineer to join their exceptional team on the highly prestigious Sizewell C project—one of the UK’s most significant and high-profile infrastructure undertakings. As a vital member of this transformative project, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier engineering solutions, ensuring precision and efficiency in meeting rigorous project specifications and tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct GNSS site surveys to gather accurate data for effective site management.
2. Refine 3D machine control models for seamless construction processes.
3. Work closely with the Foreman and team to implement effective construction methods.
4. Produce project documentation to support communication and tracking.
5. Perform quality assurance checks on materials to ensure high standards.
6. Lead rolling-wave planning, keeping the project on schedule.
7. Ensure earthworks tasks stay on track, on time, and within budget.
8. Track costs and contribute to budget management for project efficiency.
9. Mentor junior engineers and apprentices, supporting their development.
Candidate Requirements:
1. At least 1 year of earthworks or civil engineering experience, with a proven ability to deliver results.
2. A strong academic foundation with a minimum B in GCSE Maths and Physics.
3. A solid understanding of the four pillars of Civil Engineering, ensuring technical expertise across all areas.
4. Eligibility to join the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and a passion for progressing towards IEng status.
Package:
1. Stakeholder Pension.

4. Eligible for Lodge Payment of £21,630 per annum (if you live more than 45 minutes from site).
